My values in rough order:
- reduce universal suffering
- increase universal happiness
- satisfice universal freedom
- satisfice my happiness
- satisfice my freedom
Everybody matters intrinsically and equally, conditional on sentience. Species or substrate does not matter.
Things I don’t care about that many others seem to:
- Nation/Patriotism
- Purity
- People getting what they “deserve”
- Equality or equity
- I don’t rationally endorse that I should care more about friends and family, although I do empirically care more about them
